Thomas Edison State College: Offering Veterans Great Educational Opportunities
For nearly 40 years, Thomas Edison State College (TESC) has been one of the top higher-learning institutions in the state of New Jersey, offering students degree opportunities in over 100 areas of study. TESC has continued its tradition of excellence by being one of the only schools in the country designed specifically for adults, offering self-directed educational opportunities and excellent online classes for students looking to earn their degree while working. TESC’s flexible learning methods range from online courses and prior learning assessment to credit transfer and credit-bearing exams. The school offers undergraduate and graduate programs and professional certificates tailored to the needs of adults, whether it is for professional advancement or personal fulfillment. The school offers special programs for veterans looking to use their G.I. Bill benefits upon returning from combat. The school offers opportunities to veterans who qualify for the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill and the Montgomery G.I. Bill, as well as the Post-Vietnam Era Veterans' Educational Assistance Program and Vocational Rehabilitation for disabled veterans. In addition, the school offers veterans and their families a Military and Veteran Education Support Center, an office open five days a week staffed with Military Advisors who are there to provide assistance to veteran-students enrolled at Thomas Edison State College. Veterans can learn more about the exciting opportunities at TESC by contacting one of their skilled Military Advisors at 1-866-446-1804, or by visiting them on the web at http://www.tesc.edu/military_programs_home.php.
